Just Kids: A D.I.Y. Interview with Sunrise and Ammunition

[This Interview was conducted by Emily Vega on December 23rd, 2010]

I’m sitting on a couch upstairs in Chris Branton’s house with Sunrise & Ammunition, Friendswood’s up-and-coming progressive rock band, and my heart is beating out of my chest. I’m pretty sure theirs are, too. For the band and me, this is our first interview ever. I’m armed with naught but a determination of journalistic integrity, and a stolen tape recorder from my friend Monica with a blank tape. (Tape recorder and a cassette? Vintage!)

So, to get this started off, state your name and what you do in the band.

Tyler Saucier: I’m Tyler, I play guitar and sing.

Chris Richardson: I’m Chris, I play bass.

Chris Branton: I’m Chris, I play drums and also sing.

Let’s get started. Teenage boys in a band, writing music, putting together tours…it’s a lot of responsibility to go out there by yourselves. Do you have to control yourself in any way? To be frank, you guys are more mature than the average teenage guy. Up front.
